How does the WEEE Guarantee System function?

Other guarantee providers require pre-financing of the guarantee premium because they take immediate account of product life spans. Unlike them, the WEEE Guarantee System integrates the "life span" factor with the on-going subscription.
The amount that has to be secured each year is therefore considerably smaller compared to other guarantee solutions.
